The Faculty of Health of the University of Valle contributes to the construction and consolidation of a just, democratic and healthy society through human-centered and integral health education. The faculty is based on appropriate teaching strategies, investigation, and generation and diffusion of knowledge, with integrity, convergence, inclusion and pertinence that contribute to social and sustainable development of the country.

By the year 2030, the Faculty of Heath of the University of Valle will use health to lead social processes of transformation in the region and the country. It will be an international model in higher education and innovation in health promotion, disease prevention, recovery health, rehabilitation and equalization of opportunities for people. It will be among the top ten health faculties in Latin America, recognized for its transdisciplinary approach, and its social and environmental accountability.
