In the national context, a master's degree in the area of Occupational Therapy constitutes a postgraduate academic degree that seeks to expand and develop knowledge to solve disciplinary or interdisciplinary problems in the field; in addition to providing its professionals with the basic instruments that enable them as researchers in this discipline or in a specific related area, which allows them to deepen theoretically and conceptually in this field of knowledge.
The master's degree is a postgraduate academic degree that will allow the development of knowledge to solve disciplinary or interdisciplinary and health problems in the field of human occupation based on scientific evidence. It is therefore required to offer a training program in research skills aimed at Occupational Therapists that enables them to carry out disciplinary research or participate with the same training level in research with other multidisciplinary teams and in this way, provide a response to the professional academic gap.
Train a Master in Occupational Therapy with social and ethical commitment, capable of solving problems related to Human Occupation based on research for disciplinary development.
The Master's in Occupational Therapy graduate will be a professional with the capacities and abilities to: Acquire the necessary competencies to identify and address research methodologies, with the knowledge and understanding of problems specific to Human Occupation.

The Master in Occupational Therapy will be able to work in the public or private sector, at the local, regional, national and international levels, in research in secondary education, higher education, research institutes and entities that finance research programs and projects. Will serve as a leader in the design, development and evaluation of research projects at an individual and collective level in the areas of Occupational Therapist performance.

The Program is developed through the research modality. It is face-to-face and meetings are scheduled once a month (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), meaning that between 4 and 5 meetings are held per semester. The meeting schedule is sent in advance to facilitate the organization of your other activities.
