We train auditors in a practical way, through teaching assistance training, from the level of assistant to audit manager, through peer teaching that involves and assumes learning.

General

  • Contribute to the training of professionals for the design, development and administration of health audits, contributing to continuous institutional improvement with social ethics.

Specific

Train suitable professionals, trained to: 

    • Design and plan internal control evaluation methods.
    • Develop strategies for audit plans in the procedural structure and obtain results with qualitative and quantitative approaches.
    • Design, apply and validate audit instruments.
    • Train and form audit work teams.
    • Provide opinions and suggest improvement plans to health organizations based on the quality of service provision.
  • Possess a professional title.
  • Accredit professional and investigative activities.
  • Complete the registration form correctly and accompany it with the documents required by the Universidad del Valle for registration in Postgraduate programs.
  • Present and approve an essay referring to your study expectations.
  • Present interview.

Professional Profile

The professional graduated from the Health Audit will have the knowledge, skills, abilities and attitudes to:

  • The evaluation and design of internal control systems within a health organization.
  • The selection and application of the tools, methods and techniques necessary to implement a quality health audit process.
  • The supervision, coaching, training and orientation of your dependents within the audit team.
  • The planning, direction and management of an audit process.
  • Carrying out studies and other activities relevant to contracting an audit.
  • Critical capacity and operational research in the framework of quality management in health services.

 Occupational Profile 

As a mechanism for systematic evaluation of the public health care service, providers are obliged to implement control strategies for this purpose. The Specialization in Health Audit responds to this need through the training of suitable professionals who will be able to:

  • Design and plan internal control methods.
  • Develop strategies for Audit plans in the procedural structure and results with qualitative and quantitative approaches.
