Mission
Postgraduates of the Dentistry School seek development and expansion of knowledge by providing a fundamental training, relevant in areas of knowledge that responds to communitarian and environmental needs.
The academic training of postgraduates seeks expansion of knowledge through research for clinical abilities and skills development that allow us to address different oral health problems that affect our population.
Objectives
- To train professionals who develop activities for the solution of health problems related to periodontal disease, emphasizing, as a predisposing or contributing factor, in general systemic and medical activities.
- Train the professional to perform clinical and radiographic diagnostics, prognosis and execute general and specialized plans in the treatment of Periodontal Disease.
- To promote research as a fundamental and important element in the search for solutions to periodontal disease problems.
- To promote teaching activities that will allow specialists to have some training in pedagogy like a possible option of performance as professor in both undergraduate and postgraduate activities.
