Mission

To generate and transmit scientific and technical knowledge in the medical area of Ophthalmology at undergraduate levels and in postgraduate specialist training. To integrate teaching and research available to community service, and provide an excellent care in prevention, detection and treatment of eye diseases. Likewise, to propose alternative solutions and to lead processes of change for benefit of the University, seeking to be inserted in modern world of knowledge exchange and new socioeconomic policies.

Objectives

To deepen and expand knowledge, also to develop capacities and skills to adequately solve specialty problems, stimulating ophthalmological progress in Colombia.
