Mission

The Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery Specialization Program of the School of Medicine has the mission of educate undergraduate and graduate students and train them in the discipline of Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery through generation, assimilation and diffusion of knowledge. Consider science referents, different techniques, new technologies, scientific research and human values, such as ethics, equity, sense of belonging, responsibility and respect for human being, to be used with responsible freedom and social service vocation to population in general.

Objectives

The objectives for formation of Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery Specialists are:

• To train specialists in Dermatology with high academic level, prepared to attend patients who present skin diseases and its extensions, to provide services to the community with a great social commitment, with investigation knowledge, with administrative capacities for team leadership, within strictest standards of moral and professional ethics.
