Mission

The Mission of the University of Valle Nursing School is the comprehensive training of professionals that lead nursing care of people, families and groups. From a holistic approach it is promoted a sense of professional belonging, teamwork, interdisciplinarity, construction, validation and application of knowledge, self-discipline, self-awareness, self-care, creativity and respect for the other, for excellence pursuit, in order to improve quality of life and society transformation

Objectives

  • Train Nurses Specialists in Pediatric Critical Care with clinical, investigative and humanistic disciplinary competencies to provide comprehensive care for critically ill children and adolescents.
  • To promote the development of disciplinary and interdisciplinary research aimed to improve the quality of patients in a critical state of health.
  • To promote participation of nursing professional in Associations of Nursing Critical Care to strengthen the discipline in a national and international scope.
